Hormel Ham…remember pulling back that canned ham tab, the aroma wafting around the kitchen, along with the canned pineapple and maraschino cherries…ahhhh, those mid-century memories.

And if you look closely at the bottom of the ad, it reads “Listen to MUSIC WITH THE HORMEL GIRLS – Sunday 6:30 P.M. – ABC”. Fair readers, do you remember The Hormel Girls? Mr. Roger was not born yet to experience this mid-century phenomenon, but from 1947-1953, The Hormel Girls sang and danced their way around the country selling Hormel products. Below is a photo of some of the lovely ladies!
